Wayne and Coleen Rooney have reflected on their ‘amazing memories’ and ‘great times together’ as they celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary.
The couple have taken to social media to mark the landmark anniversary and both have posted photo montages of their happy times together.
The Rooneys, who have four sons Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass, both opened up their photo albums to share favourite pictures from over the years including from their wedding day in Portafino Italy in 2008.
Wayne wrote alongside his collection of pictures: “Celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary today. Amazing memories with @coleen_rooney and lots more to make.”
And Coleen, 32, said: “Today we are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary!!! Time goes so quick…. so many great times together to remember.”
Coleen treated fans to a montage on Twitter, and another including more photos on her Instagram.
The one on Twitter shows holiday snaps and a photo of a smitten Coleen smiling alongside her man in bright pink lipstick.
And Wayne’s collection shows them cuddling up in co-ordinating warm hats and puffa jackets, and another shows the pair lying on the sand on a beach holiday.
Congratulations have poured in for the couple from fans.
One wrote: “Happy 10th Anniversary Congratulations and Best Wishes.”
Another said: “What lovely photos happy anniversary x”
Last month the WAG supremo wife of Everton ace and former Manchester United star Wayne insisted they won’t be expanding their brood after welcoming baby Cass in February.
And the doting mum revealed it would be the first time they’ve been together on the day of the anniversary.
At the end of last year – a difficult one for the Rooneys – Coleen broke her silence over her marriage troubles in a stinging Facebook post.
Coleen, who was at the time pregnant with Cass, said she wasn’t taking the former Reds player back “as he’s never left” and revealed her wedding ring is back on after the Wayne was caught drink driving another woman’s car following a boozy night out in Alderley Edge.
She said: “I’m not going to list his good qualities as a person as I don’t think he deserves it at this time but one thing is that he is a brilliant dad.
“He’s made silly and selfish mistakes, some he’s learnt from, some obviously not. However maybe that will change?”
According to reports, Wayne is set to join Major League Soccer side DC United.
It has been suggested a £12.5m deal has been agreed which could see the 32-year-old leave his boyhood club just 12 months after rejoining them from Manchester United last summer.
Reports claim Wayne, 32, has been offered a contract until the end of the 2020 season, although the MLS transfer window does not open until July.
