Fans of The Keith and Paddy Picture Show are delighted after Paddy McGuinness confirmed that the hit series is BACK – and revealed the films they will be remaking this year.
Comedian Paddy and co-star Keith Lemon had viewers in stitches with the series which saw them send up a host of much-loved films including Ghostbusters and Dirty Dancing.
And they have another list of classic movies up their sleeve for the return of their hilarious ITV1 nostalgia-fest.
This time Paddy and Keith will be weaving their comedy magic over Pretty Woman, Grease, Terminator, Gremlins, Top Gun and Jurassic Park.
Paddy tweeted to fans: “Been in that London last couple of days, back home now.
“Start work (if you can call it that) on the new series of The Keith & Paddy Picture Show this Monday with @lemontwittor.
“Films we’re remaking this year: Pretty Woman, Grease, Terminator, Top Gun and Jurassic Park.”
One fan said: “Oooo I’m liking that line up!!”
Another tweeted: “Sounds great – but you need to make the powers that be agree that Lost Boys needs doing! I know @lemontwittor would be up for it if you could.”
And another wrote: “Know my sides will be aching afterwards from all the laughing that will happen.”
In May last year the pair recreated the iconic moment Patrick Swayze taught Jennifer Grey’s character Baby how to dance in Dirty Dancing at Kellermans resort in the Catskill Mountains.
And in memorable scenes the pair took on the infamous lift, as well as carrying a watermelon.
Keith pulled on a pink dress and wig as Baby while Paddy was quiffed up to become Johnny for the famous final Dirty Dancing routine to I’ve Had The Time Of My Life.
As well as remaking the 80s chickflick Dirty Dancing, Bolton comic Paddy and Keith remade other classic movie scenes from Star Wars The Last Jedi, Ghostbusters, Jaws and Rocky with plenty of celebrity cameos along the way from the likes of Robbie Williams, former Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan , Rochdale’s Anna Friel and Oldham TV host Phillip Schofield.
