Paddy McGuinness has stopped following Nicole Appleton on social media, after footage emerged of the pair on a night out together in London.
The Take Me Out star, 44, was pictured walking arm-in-arm with All Saints star Nicole, 43, in Soho on Friday.
Following the incident, McGuinness’s wife Christine sparked concern with worrying social media posts.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Christine posted a quote from Marilyn Monroe on her Instagram page.
“I believe everything happens for a reason,” it read.
She also took to twitter on the same day, writing: “When you realise you deserve so much more… that’s not a bad thing.”
The 29-year-old model, who married the Bolton comic in 2011, hinted that things are “falling apart” as she stayed at home in Cheshire with the couple’s four-year-old twins and one-year-old daughter.
Appleton and McGuiness had been messaging each other on Twitter since September, and she liked 178 of his posts on Instagram since April last year, the Mirror reports .
In September, the TV host tweeted that he was going to make a brew before getting back to work.
“Just brewing up and I’ll be back with you for the start of the show! @BBCOne 7pm #EvenBetter,” he tweeted.
Appleton replied with love heart eyes, and McGuinness responded: “u numero uno!”.
But since their boozy night out together, the pair have unfollowed each other on Instagram, and McGuinness has unfollowed Appleton on Twitter.
