She shot to fame winning last year’s Love Island – but it appears Amber Davies has a very impressive hidden talent for singing.
For Amber STUNNED revellers at Kym Marsh’s grand charity ball in Manchester at the weekend when she got on stage to perform.
Her beautiful singing voice had jaws dropping all around the dancefloor – including from fellow Love Island alumni Scott Thomas.
Manchester PR boss Scott posted a video of Amber singing on his Snapchat – and set social media alight with fans similarly wowed by Amber’s voice.
Brunette Amber, from Wales, won ITV2’s hit Love Island show in the summer after winning hearts with her relationship with Kem Cetinay.
But sadly the couple split in January, blaming work commitments.
Kem is now wowing viewers with his own surprise talent – ice skating – on ITV’s Dancing on Ice show.
Amber, 20, has a background in performing arts, and reportedly turned down a role in the musical Hairspray to appear on Love Island last year.
With a voice this good, we’re sure it won’t be long before she’s snapped up for another musical role though.
It looked like she had a fantastic time at Kym’s charity bash, which was held in honour of her son Archie, who was born prematurely at 21 weeks and five days on February 11 2009 and passed away just seconds after his birth.
Kym was supported by family, friends and a host of stars – including many from Corrie who also sang on the night, including Shayne Ward, Victoria Ekanoye, Andrew Whyment and Hayley Tamaddon.
Kym said after the performances: “How many Coronation Street stars can sing? It’s great.
“But no one knew about Amber – that really is a hidden talent, wasn’t she amazing?”
Amber, rocking a retro 1960s-style white shift dress, attended the ball with her mum and grandma – and her grandma’s dancing was also impressing fans on social media.
It was held at the Hilton Hotel on Deansgate and helped to raise thouands of pounds for the Mariposa Trust which supports anyone affected by the loss of a child at any stage of pregnancy.
