India Willoughby became the first celeb to leave Celebrity Big Brother 2018 after viewers voted to save Love Island star Jonny Mitchell.
Viewers have been voting since Tuesday to decide between India and Jonny after fellow housemates put the pair up for eviction in a tense face-to-face showdown.
Trailblazing journalist India, who made history by becoming the UK’s first transgender newsreader, previously sparked a massive row in the Channel Five house – and anger among viewers – after claiming that she had a phobia of drag queens .
And she admitted to host Emma Willis she feels she messed things up after leaving the TV house after 10 days.
She told Emma: “I c****d it up really early on.”
Explaining what had gone wrong she said: “It was like a hurdles race and I hit a big one on the gender question.
“I should have kept my gob shut.”
In a jaw-dropping scenes India was moved to tears when she claimed to be upset when The Apprentice star Andrew Brady dressed up in drag, saying: “I’m a woman. A man walks into a room in a dress and everyone laughing at it upsets me.”
She also became upset when Amanda Barrie, who played Corrie’s Alma Baldwin, misgendered her and called her a man twice after already taking housemates Rachel Johnson and Ann Widdecombe to task for the same thing.
When Australian drag queen, singer and reality star Courtney Act, AKA Shane Jenek, sashayed into the Channel Five house last Friday India told her outright that she had a fear of drag queens.
She told Emma she’s now backing Courtney to win.
“He’s the star of the show,” said India.
“I’m liable to fire off both barrels whereas he will sit and listen and he has a playful side.
“His makeup is incredible. He’s an all rounder.
“I think he will win.”
