Coronation Street star Jennie McAlpine has broken the happy news that she’s expecting her second child with her husband Chris Farr.
Jennie, who plays soap favourite Fiz Brown in Corrie, broke the news on Twitter that she’s due later this year.
Her Corrie co-stars rushed to congratulate the 34-year-old actress from Bury, who won a new army of fans on I’m A Celebrity …Get Me Out Of Here! last year.
She tweeted: “We’ve got a bit of news. Pur baby boy is going to be a big brother later this year. We can’t wait to meet you precious one x”
Samia Longchambon who plays Maria Connor replied: “Oh wow Jen! Fabulous news… congrats to you all darling!”
Rana Nazir actress Bhavna Limbachia said: “Ahhh!! Congratulations Jennie!! That’s amazing news!”
Patti Clare, who plays Mary Taylor, said: “Congratulations Jen!! Thats brilliant news xxx”
Former Corrie star Sherrie Hewson said: “Congratulations gorgeous xxxxx”
And Amy James-Kelly who played Maddie Heath wrote: “I SCREAMED Love and hugs to you all xxxxx”
Jennie and Chris are already proud parents to a three-year-old son Albert, who captured the hearts of her campmates and their families when he flew out to Australia to meet his mum when she left the TV jungle in December.
The doting mum, who owns Annie’s Restaurant in Manchester, was upset to miss his third birthday during her stint on I’m A Celebrity.
She was voted out on the eve of the final leaving former Hollyoaks hunk Jamie Lomas, reality TV star Georgia Toffolo and comedian Iain Lee to battle it out for the crown – and Made In Chelsea’s Toff went on to win.
Her absence from the show was explained by Fiz going to stay with her mum Cilla. And she returned to heartbreak when partner Tyrone Dobbs had a fling with gobby neighbour Gemma Winter which led to an epic catfight in the kebab shop.
Fiz and Tyrone have recently attempted to reunite over their struggle with her wayward daughter Hope.
Last year Jennie shocked fans by revealing she had wed long-term partner Chris after more than a decade together in a secret ceremony at Trafford Town Hall.
She took to Twitter to share a picture of their hands – complete with wedding rings.
Alongside it she wrote: “So, we went to Trafford Town Hall earlier this week and had a bit of a special day.”
