Coronation Street star Jennie McAlpine has apologised to followers who might have got the wrong idea from her pregnancy announcement on Twitter.
The Corrie favourite who plays Fiz Brown was thrilled to announce that she’s expecting her second child with husband Chris Farr – but she has since joked that a slip up in her tweet may have led some people to think it was their CAT who was pregnant.
Her original message said: “We’ve got a bit of news. Pur baby boy is going to be a big brother later this year. We can’t wait to meet you precious one x”
She has since followed this up to explain that she meant to say ‘our’ not ‘pur.’
“Thanks for all your lovely messages,” she wrote.
“Obviously my baby brain is in full force again. Our baby boy. Not pur. Sorry to people who got confused it was about the cat x
Laura Rowsell replied with crying-with-laughter and hand-up- emojis: ” I thought it.”
And Corrie star Shayne Ward’s actress fiancee Sophie Austin tweeted: “Huge congratulations! What an exciting year ahead.”
Fans and co-stars have rushed to congratulate the 34-year-old actress from Bury, who won a new army of fans on I’m A Celebrity …Get Me Out Of Here! last year.
Jennie and Chris, who married last year in a secret ceremony at Trafford Town Hall., are already proud parents to a three-year-old son Albert.
